How to create a template in Notion

There are two ways you can create and utilize templates in Notion.

## Database templates in Notion

1. Click the arrow next to `New` button in the right upper corner of a database.

2. Click `+ New template`

3. Configure the template

4. Make it the default if you want it to be used every time you create an item in the database.

5. Alternatively, apply the template after you create a page.

## Template button in Notion

1. Open or create any page.

2. Type /template and choose `Template button`.

3. Configure the name and the content.

4. Hit the close button.

5. Click the button every time you need to populate the content of the template on the page.
